Assistant Professor
Department of Computer Science and Technology
Tsinghua University

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, and a member of the EDA Lab. I received my Ph.D. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023, supervised by Prof. Bei Yu, and my B.Sc. from Peking University in 2017. I serve as an Associate Editor of Integration, the VLSI Journal.

My research interests are in artificial intelligence and electronic design automation. I study how large language models infer formal representations of domain knowledge and design intent, enabling downstream computation through algorithms, compilation, and automated reasoning. In particular, my current work targets chip verification, where a central challenge is to ensure that every conclusion is faithful to a specification and justified under explicit assumptions. I have also worked on netlist representation learning, physical design optimization, and efficient physical verification.

I am looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students starting in Fall 2028 and undergraduate research interns. If you are interested in working with me, please email me your CV and a brief description of your research interests.
